Essence 2 in 1 Hand & Nail Balm

Hello Luvies,

So through this crazy weather we have been having in Cairo lately, i developed a little case of dry hands. Which is one of those things i find extremely hard to tolerate.

I kept seeing this moisturizer (below) around but since it is one of the cheaper options i wasn't thinking of purchasing it thinking it would be a waste of my time and money.

Well, that changed when i saw my friend had gotten it, she offered me to use some and honestly i love the smell and the moisturizer sinks in almost immediately, its not thick and doesn't linger on you hands which can be quite uncomfortable.

The added benefit is that not only is it moisturizing your skin but also keeps your cuticles looking well - cared for and supposedly strengthens the nail as well.

Price: 17 LE !!!

Place: Mazaya

Conclusion: Love! it works :)

Color Trends - Fashion Spring 2013

Hey My Luvlies,

Happy Thursday!, I've been waiting for the weekend because work is seriously stressing me out this week.

So spring is coming up and i don't know if you are aware of Pantone and their color forecasts for every seasons fashion: http://www.pantone.com/pages/fcr.aspx?pg=21005&ca=4

I like to check their site every season just to see whats new and this spring season's colors look very pretty indeed. I'm definitely going to wear more color as i am basically addicted to black.

Below is a color diagram of what they are predicting:

What do you think of next seasons colors? would you wear these shades?

Lots of love,

Teeth Whitening - Home Edition

Hey My Luvlies,

Today i wanted to share some home made teeth whitening solutions!

They take some time and patience, but it is a lot cheaper than going to your dentist for the whole Shabang!

1. The Baking-Soda Scrub:

  • Teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • Few drops of lemon
  • Toothbrush
On a little plate mix baking soda and a few drops of lemon until they make a paste. Put the paste on your tooth brush and start brushing your teeth in a circular motion. Repeat no more than 2 times a week.

Warning: It tastes pretty bad!

2. The Banana Peel:
  • Banana peel
Dry teeth with a towel. Peel a banana, take the inside of the peel and rub it on your teeth. Keep your mouth open for as long as you can to let the residue from the banana work their magic on your teeth. Wash off, and repeat whenever you can.

I hope you try these methods! it does require a lot of patience but if you are on a budget then i would definitely advice you to try these because they do work.

Good luck

Lots of love,

Neveah x

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo

Hey Guys!

So I've been M.I.A for a while again! Some time in January i decided to purchase this product La Roche-Posay, Effaclar DUO (Corrective and unclogging anti-imperfection care). If you have never heard of it before it generated a lot of attention in the media and is one of Allure's best of beauty award winners (Best of Beauty 2012; Breakthrough 2011).

What does it do?
As mentioned on the website:
The pores are purified. Even the most severe imperfections disappear. The skin is smoother and cleaner. Lasting balance-replenishment to restore all the qualities of healthy skin.

And let me tell you, the last point is true. I have been using this cream instead of a moisturizer and my skin never gets dry or too oily, in fact it really balanced my it out and it helped get rid of most of the bumps under my skin and some of my pesky break - outs. It also disappears instantly, leaving your skin feeling like u put nothing on it.

The product costs: 90 LE

Where to find it: Seif or Ezaby pharmacies tend to have this line of skincare.

Conclusion: I am definitely going to try more products from this line that is Recommended by over 25,000 dermatologists.
